Wildflower Photography

Kari says that photographing wildflowers is so much fun because the flowers can look simple, but be very complex and visa versa.

She often, like in most of her flower pictures, abstracts these wildflowers into almost looking like something else completely.  In “Daisy Dance Photo” she uses macro photography to abstract the daisy to express a more free-spirited “personality” as it “dances” through the fields.  In “Black-Eyed Susan Photo” she transforms the flower into an other-worldly landscape of deep, dark brown and luscious gold.  In “Queen Anne's Lace Wildflower Photo” she has found a delightful tiny surprise for us - the hind end of a little white crab spider is perfectly camouflaged amongst the petals of the flower.

So whether you are looking for a fine art photo gift or just looking, you should enjoy this gallery.
